2-Day Skill Immersion

Day 1 will focus on offense: scoring, passing, and offensive strategy, while Day 2 will focus on defense: master the art of defense and team protection.

  • What are the eligibility requirements for Texas Storm tryouts?
    While our skills training sessions are open to all homeschooled boys interested in basketball, trying out for the Texas Storm team requires meeting the following criteria: Homeschooling Requirement: You must be homeschooled, with at least 51% of your education being home-based. Age Requirement: Boys aged 10-18 are eligible to participate. Residency: You must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area. Values: You should demonstrate a commitment to Christian values and sportsmanship.
  • What should participants bring to the tryouts?
    Participants should come prepared with basketball attire, including suitable shoes, a water bottle, and any personal sports equipment like knee braces or wristbands. Please also bring any necessary medical forms or waivers required by Texas Storm.
  • Can parents or guardians watch the tryouts and training sessions?
    Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and watch the tryouts and open training sessions. Your support is vital to your athlete's confidence and development. However, certain training sessions may be closed to ensure focused training environments.

Established in 2016 as the Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, our organization has a proven record of helping our student athletes excel, compete, and grow athletically, academically, and most importantly, deepen their walk with Christ.
